Could we really see OBJ traded?

Odell Beckham Jr is one of the most talented and intriguing players in the NFL. However, his genius is also married to his immaturity which sometimes means his actions and his words eradicate his on-field exploits. Is that why the Giants are talking about being open to trading one of their best players? Let’s prophesies this, would the Giants be talking the way they are if Odell played in 2017 and put in a stellar season?
My theory is no, they wouldn’t. Contract negotiations would be happening, long term contract extensions would be talked about and no doubt they would be signed.
Odell is one of the highest ranking Wide Receivers in the National Football League, his stats show his consistency and his highlight real shows his sheer skill in his ability to make catches that no one else can, remember this one?

So, could the Giants really be considering offers for Odell, and if so what’s the price tag on Beckham’s head?
In regards to cost, the Giants have said they will only accept two first round picks for the Wide Receiver. Some say that that’s too high, but look at what that team would be getting. Instead of two players who may or may not translate into the NFL in their first season, they get a tried and tested WR who consistency produces.
The Rams have been linked to trading for Beckham, and that makes sense. They need someone like OBJ to offer Jared Goff somewhere else to throw that ball. During free agency the Rams lost Sammy Watkins, leaving them with talent like Cooper Kupp, Tavon Austin, Mike Thomas and Robert Woods. But imagine adding OBJ to that line-up with Todd Gurley lined up behind Goff, that’s an offence to be feared without even taking into account the Rams new and improved Defense. But, is that worth two high picks?
Let’s say, yes it’s worth it. The next step to consider is OBJ has said that he will not step on the field without a long-term contract, whether that is with the Giants or any other team. So, let’s say the Rams do trade for him, they then need to offer OBJ a long-term contract at a considerable amount of money.
Who knows if the Rams will make that move, but its safe to say, some teams are scrambling right now to see if its at all possible hey can afford OBJ.
