We have the 2018 NFL regular season schedule which kicks off on September 6th when the Falcons travel to Philadelphia to take on the Superbowl champs.
I’ve had a good scan of the full schedule and can’t wait for the season to get underway. Here, I’ve listed the most interesting match up for each week of the season:
Week 1
Jacksonville Jaguars vs New York Giants

Will the Jags be as good as they were last year, will the Giants be as bad?
Week 2
Minnesota Vikings vs Green Bay Packers

The Vikings ruled the NFC North last year, can the Packers get their crown back?
Week 3
Dallas Cowboys vs Seattle Seahawks

Always a good battle and a chance for both to stake their play-off claims early in the season
Week 4
Minnesota Vikings vs Los Angeles Rams

Week 5
Atlanta Falcons vs Pittsburgh Steelers

Two explosive offensive teams going head to head
Week 6
Kansas City Chief vs New England Patriots

Possibly a match up between the best two teams in the AFC
Week 7
Los Angeles Rams vs San Francisco 49ers

Is there any way that the 49ers can challenge the Rams in the NFC West? We’ll find out here
Week 8
Philadelphia Eagles vs Jacksonville Jaguars

This could so easily have been the Superbowl match up last year, a mid-season marker for both teams
Week 9
Green Bay Packers vs New England Patriots

Any time Rodgers and Brady step on the field together, it’s going to be a great game
Week 10
Los Angeles Chargers vs Oakland Raiders

A good old fashioned divisional game where we’ll get to see how Gruden’s Raiders have improved from 2017
Week 11
Philadelphia Eagles vs New Orleans Saints

Can the Eagles D get to Brees and disrupt the Saints offense? This should have been the NFC Championship game in 2017
Week 12
Tennessee Titans vs Houston Texans

Both these teams should still be in play-off contention and this will show whether either can challenge the Jags in their division
Week 13
San Francisco 49ers vs Seattle Seahawks

As above, both teams in play-off contention, can the 49ers maintain their season against divisional opponents?
Week 14
Baltimore Ravens vs Kansas City Chiefs

Could be a defensive battle but this will show if KC are serious contenders and the Ravens will be pushing to get to the play-offs
Week 15
New England Patriots vs Pittsburgh Steelers
Philadelphia Eagles vs Los Angeles Rams

I couldn’t choose!!! Possibly a double premonition towards the championship games?
Week 16
Denver Broncos vs Oakland Raiders

I love Broncos/Raiders games, hopefully no fighting though!!!
Week 17
Carolina Panthers vs New Orleans Saints

I guarantee a 90 point slobber-knocker (not a guarantee)
