Fancy a flutter? Current Superbowl Odds

I was thinking about doing another power rankings piece but not much has changed, since the draft, so I’ll leave that for a bit. I thought it interesting to see what odds a ‘leading sports betting website’ currently had for winning Superbowl 53.

They’ve mostly got the teams in a reasonable order but there are some anomalies. I personally wouldn’t have Green Bay above both New Orleans and Atlanta and Houston have far too short odds of 26/1 (the same as Seattle and Kansas City). The Colts have odds of 50/1 which seems very optimistic for a team that look destined to struggle especially if Andrew Luck isn’t under center week 1. To make those odds even more laughable, the Colts have a 50 point advantage over Buffalo only 6 months removed from the Bills being a playoff team.

I’m also slightly annoyed that Miami have odds of 101/1 when teams like Cleveland have been touted as 81/1 shots (ouch !!!)
